Stormy week for the Cloud: After AWS, Google AppEngine suffers downtime

After AWS service issues at the busy EC2 East location Cedexis Radar has now detected an outage at Google AppEngine, furthering the argument for multi-Cloud application deployment strategies.

The following graphs show data captured by Radar:

As you can see Google App Engine’s availability fluctuated during the outage period, before returning to full availability as shown by real time measurements from end-users around the globe:
